Meet PEBC's Summer Intern - Sabrina Gentz
I’m a very passionate individual when it comes to the environment. I was the little girl on the play ground that played with the worms and dug in the dirt. My grandmother lives on Heron Lake. As a child I would come in from the lake with sand in my hair and mud up to my eyeballs. She would have to hose me off before I came into the house and send me straight up to the shower! I’m attending school for Environmental Studies and hope to transfer to South Dakota State University or Montana State.
I remember as a kid doing a lot of activities out at Sparks Park during the fall and summer. I always had a blast joining in on the activities. The Ecology Bus was always a wonder for me. In turn I would like to open up other children’s minds to nature and help them better understand what nature consists of and how we, as a population, can help out our local environment.
