The Prairie Ecology Bus Center homeschool program explores science through hands-on experiments, activities, and inquiry-based learning with lots of stimulating outdoor time for your students to explore and investigate freely using their own natural curiosity. |

Nature Buddies focuses on preparing children both academically and socially. Unlike a normal school classroom, Nature Buddies will be held primarily outdoors to teach academics and social skills through immersion in nature. Our goals are to build a child’s confidence, stimulate their mind, and grow a love for nature. |
Important:
Kids are separated according to age/grade level.
Registration
Pre-registration is required for all programs.
If minimum registration numbers are not met, program will be cancelled and full refund will be given.
Member cost is $12, non-member cost is $15 per program.
Register for one or more programs below.
If not paying online, payment will be due the week before the program.
Weather
Our programs will be held both indoors and outdoors in all types of weather. Please be sure your child is adequately prepared to go outdoors for weather conditions including rain, snow, sun, cold, and heat.
Disclaimer
Cancellations received 1 week prior to a Homeschool & Nature Buddies program will receive 100% refund/credit for that session. There will be no refunds after that.
In the case of inclement weather, 100% refund/credit will be received for that session.
Waitlist
A waitlist will be formed once the program has reached capacity. Before the start of the session, once we have an idea of the ages of our students, more groups or program times may be added.
