Luverne Elementary Photos
	Prairie Ecosystem Native tallgrass prairies once covered most of Minnesota. Now we have less than one percent of native prairies in the state. Through the efforts of many individuals, prairie restoration is taking place on many sites including the Touch the Sky Prairie near Luverne. Managed by the USFWS, this prairie provided a fantastic opportunity for the Luverne students to investigate native prairie plants and learn some of the more interesting facts and their history.
