	The Dirt on Soils/Wetland Science We had the privilage to spend the day with a few students from JCC High School. We started out the morning digging in the dirt and discovering how important the soil is to us as well as taking samples to determine composition and examine soil horizons. In the afternoon we moved to the wetland to look at the plants and macroinvertabrates that call the wetland home.
