is to be a vehicle for understanding and appreciating the natural
wonders in our own backyards.

Whale Program Photos
	A Whale In My School Whales are some of the largest creatures to have ever inhabited the earth. Students from Hilltop Elementary in Henderson, Kennedy Elementary in Willmar and Hancock Elementary in Hancock joined Chrystal Dunker from the Prairie Ecology Bus Center on an ocean odyssey where they learned about these remarkable animals and their watery home. They dove into hands-on activities, listened to whale sounds, inspected whale artifacts and a took a tour around and inside of a life-size, inflatable whale! They learned about the biggest of the big - the Blue Whale along with their smaller cousins.
