Forest Wildlife
Third grade students from RTR Elementary School were out with the Ecology Bus on September 23 at Camden State Park, learning how to become forest detectives. They discovered what animals are living nearby in the trees! PEBC Naturalists helped students identify animals by their tracks, trails, scat, bite marks, and the homes they leave behind to uncover the stories they tell us. They learned how the smallest of the forest creatures are connected with the biggest. |
