Phenology
Mrs. Harm's Pleasantview Elementary Fifth Graders boarded the Prairie Ecology Bus on October 6 where they were transported to Boot Lake. The class spent the day out on the prairie studying Phenology - a study of periodic plant and animal life cycle events. They learned about wind, plants, animals, insects and were each given a journal to record their findings.
