Turtles and Snakes and Frogs, Oh My!
Naturalist Alisha Flemming traveled to Wabasso to present her herpetology program to community education students at their local library on July 14. Herpetology is the study of reptiles and amphibians. Students met some of Minnesota's own "herps!" They became fast friends with a live turtle, and came nose to nose with a snake, and learned about their unique lives through fun activities and games.
