	Insects A little hike at Cedar Creek Park gave the Fairmont First Graders an opportunity to look for some of the coolest mini-beasts around – insects!  Insects are found in every ecosystem and on every continent in the world.  They are remarkable animals and students learned just what makes an insect an insect.  To make this program even more relevant, participants discovered which groups of insects make our region their home and they had the opportunity to explore and collect specimens for further observation under the cameras on the Ecology Bus.
