wonders in our own backyards.

Into The West Photos
	Minnesota's Great Plains - Grades 3-6 Imagine walking through an ocean of waving flowers and grass higher than your head; thousands of bison go thundering by; wolves howl in the distance; a lone tree stands guard. This is the vast prairie, an image few will ever see again. But through fun activities and animal artifacts, under the direction of PEBC Naturalist Alisha Flemming, students from Immanuel Lutheran School of Lakefield, Mountain Lake Elementary School of Mountain Lake, Pleasantview Elementary School of Lakefield, Riverside Elementary School of Jackson, SSC Elementary School of Heron Lake, and Windom Elementary School of Windom, rediscovered the history of the land that surrounds us!
