Turtles & Tots/Turtles Snakes & Frogs
Who carries a house on its back, likes to sun themselves on a log and can hold its breath underwater for a long time? Why a turtle, of course! Many people think turtles are slow, but some are very fast and not all have a hard shell! Worthington Communityi Ed children met a real painted turtle named "George" and our "PEBC Frog" and learned all about what the Minnesota turtles and frogs like to eat, where they live and more, when Naturalist Clay Steele presented our "Turtles & Tots" and "Turtles, Snakes & Frogs" programs.
