| Water Quality and Macros The Prairie Ecology Bus traveled to St. James on September 16 for Watonwan SWCD's Environmental Day. Naturalists Alisha Flemming & Clay Steele spent the day teaching 127 sixth grade youth about Water Quality and Macros. The students became aquatic scientists for a day! They learned about what “water quality” means and how to measure it with chemical and physical tests. They drew samples and tested these samples. Does water quality really affect us? Do we affect water health? |
