wonders in our own backyards.

SSC Elementary Photos
	Forest Wildlife, Forest Ecology, Prairie Ecology Southwest Star Concept Elementary Second, Fourth, Fifth & Sixth Grade Students from Heron Lake were out with the Ecology Bus at Pat's Grove on October 7 and October 20 to better understand the prairie and forest environment and what plants and animals can be found in these ecosystems.  By studying how trees work, what types we have in our region and which wildlife makes use of these habitats, students had a clearer understanding and new appreciation for the forests of our region.
