Insects & Other Things That Bug Us
Everywhere you go, you'll find the most amazing mini-beasts! Insects are found on every continent and even in the water! Hills Elementary School students from Pipestone traveled with the Prairie Ecology Bus and Naturalists to Split Rock Creek State Park in Ihlen where they discovered the amazing variety in the insect world and learned what makes an insect an insect. They went on an insect safari to capture these awesome creatures and learned to classify them into family groups while studying their unique characteristics.
