	Legend of the Rainstick Prairie Ecology Bus Center Naturalist Clay Steele presented the magical "Legend of the Rainstick" program to Madelia - Lewisville Library Program children. They discovered native rainstick legends from many cultures and learned how, when and where they are used. Each student learned how to create, decorate and play their very own tropical instrument. Many cultures use rainsticks to summon the rains as part of their ceremonies. We just like the cool rain sounds you can make with this fun instrument!
