	Microscopes & Water Quality The Prairie Ecology Bus traveled to Voss Park in Butterfield to spend the day teaching Butterfield-Odin sixth graders about Microscopes, truly spectacular tools! Microscopes open up a whole new world in front of our eyes! Working in pairs with their own microscopes, students learned the basics of the micro-world from the parts of a microscope to studying prepared slides. They also became "aquatic scientists" for a day! They found out what “water quality” means - how we measure it; how water quality really affects us; and how we affect water.
