wonders in our own backyards.

Madelia ECFE Photos
	Insects Students from Madelia ECFE traveled with the Prairie Ecology Bus to Watona Park to study some of the coolest mini-beasts around – insects!  Insects are found in every ecosystem and on every continent in the world.  They are remarkable animals and the students learned just what makes an insect an insect.  To make this program even more relevant, participants were able to discover which groups of insects make our region their home by exploring and collecting specimens for further observation under the cameras on the Ecology Bus.
