wonders in our own backyards.

Butterfly Hike July 2009 Photos
	Butterfly Hike The land is painted with vibrant colors of red, orange, purple, and yellow.  Flowers of these colors attract one of the most favorite insects - the butterfly!  Several "butterflyers" joined PEBC staff for a hike to capture butterflies and took an up close and personal look at them.  They also searched for the butterfly eggs and caterpillars. This program was a capture-and-release program.  Participants also took home their very own “bug box.”
