Faribault SWCD Environmental Camp
The Ecology bus traveled to the Faribault County Fairgrounds in Blue Earth for Faribault County Soil & Water Conservation District's eighth annual Environmental Day Camp. County fifth graders boarded the Ecology Bus to view and identify live macro-invertebrate critters, collected from a local wetland. At another station they played "Scrambled Animals" by piecing together some of Minnesota's mammals using pelts, skulls, tracks and scat replicas.
