Frog and Toad Call

A walk along a wetland in the spring is filled with all kinds of songs. Some know well the sound of the spring peeper or even the chorus frog, while others recognize the american toad. All of these join together for a late night concert.

Minnesota is home to numerous frogs and toads. For more information on
their calls and when you may hear each species, check out our Frogs and Toads of Minnesota page.

The MN DNR works with volunteers to collect data on frogs and toads in Minnesota. If your interested, check out their website for more information.
